ABOUT
Chingwede House is set 40 feet above the sweeping white sands of Msambweni beach. There are stunning views of the ocean and to the west the sun sets behind the Doum Palms and a forest of indigenous trees. A spacious verandah looks out over the pool to the Indian ocean beyond.
OUR ROOMS
There are a total of 4 rooms sleeping 8 pax comfortably. Upstairs our master bedroom with a large double bed. On the same floor there is a twin room at the back of the house. Downstairs there are two twin rooms next to each other by the pool.

THINGS TO DO
Funzi Island
Organise a day trip to Funzi Island for a swim off the sand bar and boat trip up the Ramisi River where you can see fantastic bird life and even crocodiles .
Shimoni & Kisite Marine Park
Visit Shimoni and Kisite marine park which is an hour drive away. Here you can take a dhow and see dolphins as well as plenty of marine life. Followed by a delicious lunch on Wasini island.

Sailing Trip
Book a sailing trip from Chingwede out to the nearby coral reefs where you can go snorkeling or plan a days fishing out at Sea.
Kite Surfing
Kite surfing is ideal from Chingwede with both the Kuzi and the Kaskazi winds blowing through out the year. Kite surfing can be done right off the beach.
Diani Beach
Diani Beach is a 30 minute drive away from Chingwede here you can find lots of restaurants and Bar's as well as shops.
Walks & Swimming
Go for long walks and swims on the beach and in the pools alongside Msambweni Beach right in front of Chingwede House
